About Deborah Ní Chaoimhe Sprake





Deborah graduated from Cork Institute of Technology with a First Class Honors Masters in Art Therapy in 2014.
Deborah is a registered member of the Irish Association of Creative Arts Therapists, and adheres to their code of ethics. Deborah is Garda Vetted and cleared. Art Therapy Clonakilty is fully covered by public liability insurance.

Having worked as an Art Therapist in geriatric, educational and psychiatric institutions, Deborah is now concentrating on the private practice she established in Clonakilty in January 2015. Her clients include children, adolescents and adults with various reasons for attending therapy including, bereavement, low self-esteem, anger issues, depression, and long-term illness.

Prior to qualifying as an Art Therapist, Deborah worked as a community artist for 15 years and has vast experience working with groups and individuals. Amongst the agencies she has worked with are Women’s Aid, Traveller Groups, Active Retirement Groups, Asylum Seekers, Youth-reach, Enable Ireland, Arc Cancer support, Education Centres in West Cork and Kildare, West Cork Intercultural Events.
